AnySchool

AnySchool Terms of Service

Effective date: 13 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of AnySchool: the AnySchool platform (any.school), Schoolipedia (wiki.any.school), the AnySchool connector for AI chat apps, and any API access we give you (together, "AnySchool"). "We" and "us" mean AnySchool. "You" means the person using AnySchool and, if you use it for an organisation, that organisation too; you confirm that you're allowed to accept these terms for it.

By creating an account or using AnySchool, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

2. Accounts and seats

  • Give us accurate account details and keep them up to date.
  • Each seat is for one named person. Don't share sign-in details, and don't let more people use an account than your plan has seats.
  • Keep your password and access tokens safe. If you think someone else is using your account, tell us at support@any.school.
  • Organisation owners and admins manage members, seats and billing, and are responsible for activity in their organisation's account.
  • Schoolipedia is free and can be used without an account; a parent account lets you save a shortlist.

3. Plans, billing and renewal

  • There is a Free plan and there are paid plans. The current plans, prices and limits are shown on our pricing page and in the app.
  • Paid plans are self-serve subscriptions, billed in advance through Stripe. Billing is monthly by default, or annual if you choose it; an annual plan costs 10 times the monthly price and has the same features.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until they're cancelled. Owners and admins can cancel at any time in the app; the plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and then it doesn't renew.
  • Except where the law requires otherwise, payments aren't refundable, including for unused credits or for part of a billing period.
  • Prices are in US dollars. Taxes may be added where they apply.
  • If a payment fails, we may pause paid features until it's settled.
  • We may change our prices or plans. A price change applies from your next renewal, and we'll tell you before it takes effect.

4. Credits and contact data

  • Contact details are masked by default.
  • Your plan includes a number of unlock credits each month. One credit unlocks one contact for your organisation.
  • Once your organisation unlocks a contact, everyone in your organisation can see it, and it isn't charged again.
  • Credits reset every month, including on annual plans. Unused credits don't carry over and have no cash value. On Territory and Desk, the whole team shares one pool of credits.
  • Exports (Rep and above) and CRM push to HubSpot, Salesforce or Zoho (Territory and Desk) include only contacts your organisation has unlocked. No plan includes a bulk download of the contact database.
  • School plans don't include contact unlocks.

5. Your licence to use AnySchool data

  • While you have an account, you may use AnySchool and its data for your own internal business purposes, such as researching schools and contacting the right people at them.
  • You may keep the contacts your organisation has unlocked, including those you've exported or pushed to your CRM, and use them for your own outreach, as long as you follow these terms and the law.
  • AnySchool, its software and its database belong to us or our licensors. Apart from this licence, these terms give you no rights in them.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • sell, resell, license, publish, share or otherwise make AnySchool data available to anyone outside your organisation, or use it to build or improve a competing database or service;
  • scrape, crawl or bulk-download AnySchool, or use bots or scripts to extract data, other than through the export, CRM push or API features of your plan;
  • share sign-in details, or let more people use your account than your plan has seats;
  • try to get around masking, credits, plan limits or security, or try to access another organisation's data;
  • reverse engineer, overload or disrupt AnySchool;
  • use AnySchool for anything unlawful, deceptive or harassing, or to contact children.

7. Contacting people

  • You're responsible for the messages you send and for how you use contact details from AnySchool.
  • Follow the anti-spam, marketing and data-protection laws that apply to you and to the people you contact (for example CAN-SPAM, CASL, the GDPR and UK GDPR, and PECR).
  • Identify yourself, include a working way to opt out, and honour opt-outs and requests to delete data promptly.
  • Contacts you export or copy into your own systems are your responsibility: you decide how you use them, and you're responsible for that use under data-protection law.

8. Data from public sources

  • School data and contact details come from schools' public websites, other public sources and third-party data providers, and are gathered partly with automated tools and AI.
  • We work to keep them accurate and re-check them regularly, but we provide them "as is". We don't promise that they're accurate, complete or current, or that an email address will reach the person.
  • AI features such as Brief, Compare and Lead Finder can make mistakes. Check anything important before you rely on it.
  • If you spot an error, tell us at support@any.school or through Feedback in the app.

9. Suspension and termination

  • You can stop using AnySchool at any time, cancel your plan in the app, and delete your account in My Account.
  • We may suspend or close an account, or limit access, if you break these terms (for example by reselling data, scraping or sharing sign-in details), if your use causes spam complaints or legal risk, if a payment fails, or if the law requires it. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
  • When an account is closed, access ends and unused credits lapse.
  • Terms that by their nature should continue, such as the limits on using AnySchool data, the rules on contacting people and the limits of liability, keep applying.

10. Liability

  • AnySchool is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties that aren't written in these terms, including fitness for a particular purpose.
  • To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data.
  • To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims relating to AnySchool is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if you haven't paid us anything.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

11. Changes to AnySchool and to these terms

We keep improving AnySchool and may change or remove features. We may also update these terms: we'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and tell account holders about significant changes by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using AnySchool after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree with them, you can cancel your plan and stop using AnySchool.
